Putaendo is the best-preserved colonial town in the valley: Calle Comercio with 18th–19th-century adobe houses, home to a distinctive artisan chicha, pre-Hispanic petroglyphs and a contemporary sculpture park. Authentic rural tourism, ideal on weekdays.
